Enigin PLC’s Eniscope - The Consumer’s Vision
Just because we can’t see them with our bare eyes, does that mean germs don’t exist? Just because they can’t be seen, does that cancel out the existence of UV rays that give us those painful sun burns? Of course not. We all know that now, we are aware that there are things we cannot see but that do exist out there.
A bit like when you check out of a hotel and verify the bill to see whether you have inadvertently been charged for something you haven’t done or used. The advantage of the hotel bill over the energy bill, is that every item is clearly listed, so you can easily see whether you are paying for what you’ve used. The energy bill, however, does not. It comes every couple of months and has a set charge calculated on consumption which you cannot verify and must therefore pay blindly.
Enigin has found the solution for this and commit to being your eyes on how much energy you really use, on what appliance, and where the wastage occurs!
Enigin have created a monitoring tool called Eniscope, which is there to meter your energy consumption and outline where energy is being used in excess/wasted. In other words, it detects where your ‘energy leaks’ emanate from. This enables you to then make the necessary amendments (with specifically designed Enigin products, adapted to your needs) to improve your energy efficiency and significantly reduce your energy costs.
The Eniscope makes the invisible, visible. It can pinpoint the cost of running individual applications within your business facility and warn you when you are using too much energy, in an easy-to-read format. Information from the Eniscope is converted to salient graphical displays accessible in real time, from anywhere in the world, on your PC, laptop or iPhone. It even includes a historical data logging facility, to help you analyse trends.
The Eniscope will cost around 200 dollars per month on lease to install, but even by saving a modest 15% of your energy costs from day 1, which is the minimum (at 50,000 dollars per annum = 7500 dollars per annum profit increase), the Eniscope is actually costing you nothing! It even generates positive cash flow from day 1!
